Analyst, Manufacturing Technical Training

GlobalFoundries is a leading full-service semiconductor foundry providing a unique combination of design, development, and fabrication services. This role, reporting to the Director of GFES (Global Fab Engineering Services) Program Management, is primarily responsible for improving the technical training foundation within the GlobalFoundries Manufacturing organization. The position involves standardizing and modernizing training content, executing training programs, and setting up a technical training performance dashboard.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of GlobalFoundries’ Learning Management System (LMS) to support workforce capability and ensure compliance, including demonstrated ability to work flexibly and adaptably in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

Responsibilities

• Review training materials from a variety of sources and choose appropriate materials needed to deliver the best training to the protegee
• Assist in the evaluation of training programs
• Perform administrative tasks such as monitoring costs, scheduling classes, setting up systems and equipment, and coordinating enrollment
• Enhance employees’ skills, performance, productivity, and quality of work
• Close the gap between employee training desires and company needs
• Map out development plans for teams and individuals
• Analyze metrics and design reports
• Ensure training projects are completed on time, within budget, and with a high level of quality
• Continuously evaluates the relevancy and accuracy of curricula content and monitors the process and impact of training on learning and on-the-job performance, including modernizing the training materials
• Understand complex relationships and content and communicate them in a structured way
• Ability to work flexibly and adaptably in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and respond to changing priorities to meet business needs
• Ability to influence and persuade others to support goals or actions without relying on positions of power
