Senior / Design Engineer

Our client "China State Construction Engineering Limited" is seeking a Senior / Design Engineer to join their team!

What you'll be doing?

Design Development : Assist the Design Manager in various aspects of civil and structural engineering design, including building structures, foundations, retaining walls, and other infrastructure projects.

Technical Expertise : Provide valuable technical inputs for structural design and consulting assignments, ensuring designs are safe, efficient, and compliant with all regulations.

Stakeholder Coordination : Facilitate project implementation by coordinating between construction teams, clients, government agencies, design institutes, and other key stakeholders.

Proposal and Documentation : Contribute to technical proposal preparation and create comprehensive design documents, calculation reports, and structural drawings.

Who are they looking for?

Educational Background : Hold a Bachelor's degree or above in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in the field.

Relevant Experience : Bring at least 3 years of design experience in structural engineering or related sectors, with a particular advantage if you've worked on building or infrastructure projects.

Interpersonal Skills : Possess excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem‑solving skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

Time Management : Demonstrate the ability to meet various deadlines and efficiently complete assigned tasks and project work.

Self‑Motivation : Show high personal drive for achievements and success, with a proactive approach to your work.

Language Proficiency : Have a good command of both written and spoken English, with Chinese language skills preferred to facilitate effective communication with local stakeholders.

Professional Qualifications : While not mandatory, professional qualifications are an advantage and demonstrate your commitment to the field.
