Description

• Develop policies and procedures with the Corporate Controller for determining standard inventory costs (Material, Labour, Manufacturing Burden).
• Ensure consistent application of costing policies across all company divisions.
• Periodically update standard inventory costs based on company policies.
• Ensure new inventory items (NPIs) are accurately costed for timely Cost of Sales reporting aligned with month-end close.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Sales (Quoting team) to ensure BOMs and MoMs reflect accurate inventory costs.
• Analyse Contribution Margin and Gross Profit Margin by Verticals and Product Groups.
• Present financial analysis to senior leadership to support profitability improvement decisions.
• Assist in the budgeting process for Strategic Business Units.
• Perform ad-hoc reporting and projects involving data gathering, manipulation, and summarising.
• Identify financial and non-financial trends and opportunities through detailed analysis.
