Responsibilities

• Source and select mechanical, fabricated, printed circuit board suppliers and fabrication process services in the EMS industry.
• Conduct technical audits, evaluate suppliers’ capabilities, procedures, and effectiveness of the Quality System.
• Report, follow up, and close Corrective Action Requests (CARs) with suppliers.
• Resolve engineering queries and approve First Article submissions.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through value engineering.
• Consolidate and maintain an effective supplier base.
• Execute engineering and quality activities at supplier sites, evaluate and resolve issues, and audit source inspection / process capabilities to meet customer specifications.
• Perform Failure Analysis with suppliers on rejects, provide solutions, and close the analysis.
• Conduct internal training for the Quality Management System.
