Assist in the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and evaluating bids, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.Prepare and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently, verifying pricing, specifications, and delivery terms with suppliers.Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms and pricing to optimize purchasing costs.Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information in the company's ERP system, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.Monitor inventory levels and assist in inventory control activities to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence.Coordinate with internal departments, such as operations and finance, to ensure timely delivery of goods and services and resolve any purchasing-related issues.Support the negotiation of contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions that protect the company's interests and mitigate risks.Track and monitor supplier performance, including on-time delivery, quality, and responsiveness, and escalate any issues to the Director of Operations.Assist in the development and implementation of purchasing strategies and initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance supplier relationships.Benefits
