Underwriting Manager (Life & Health Insurance) - Role based in Singapore. We are seeking an experienced Underwriting Manager to join our client's Global Underwriting team. Reporting to the Section Head, GEC Underwriting, you will lead and guide a team of underwriters handling Life and Accident & Health (A&H) new business applications. Key Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and guide a team of underwriters in assessing new business applications for Life and Accident & Health insurance Oversee case distribution within the team and ensure service standards and KPIs are consistently met Manage appeals and escalations, making sound decisions on cases involving loadings, exclusions, postponements, or declines Provide case management support to financial representatives, including clear communication of underwriting decisions via e-meetings, calls, and emails Collaborate with stakeholders and ensure smooth operations within the department Undertake additional duties assigned by the Head of Department Requirements

5–10 years of relevant underwriting experience in the Life & Health insurance industry Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex decisions clearly Proven leadership ability with strong analytical and problem-solving skills A proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work well under pressure How to Apply
