Senior Associate - Indirect Tax (PwC Acceleration Center Kuala Lumpur)
Job Description & Summary : At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions. In indirect tax at PwC, you will focus on Excise Tax (Fuel & Non Fuel) and other indirect taxes, providing advice and guidance to clients on indirect tax planning, compliance, and strategy, and helping businesses navigate complex indirect tax regulations and optimise their indirect tax positions.
Focused on relationships, you are building meaningful client connections, and learning how to manage and inspire others. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, and to deliver quality. Embracing increased ambiguity, you are comfortable when the path forward isn’t clear, you ask questions, and you use these moments as opportunities to grow.

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalentProfessional papers such as Chartered Accountant or equivalent (ICAEW / ACCA / MICPA-CAANZ / CPA Australia / CPA US)In Tax, promotion to Manager requires active primary credential of either (1) US CPA or foreign equivalent or (2) US Enrolled Agent in good standing with a regulatory body or (3) a Firm approved Secondary CredentialInterest to pursue professional papers for future progressionMinimum Years of Experience : 2 year(s)Oral and written proficiency in EnglishStrong leadership, teamwork and client servicing skillsStrong communication skills in English (oral and written)Additional Application Instructions
