Responsibilities

Ensure legibility / accuracy / completion of patient\'s medical records, charts and all other relevant documents.

Responsible to allocate beds for in-patients according to their acuity level, medical conditions, requirements and insurance / company entitlements.

Plan and implement high quality patient-centred nursing care for all patients.

Coordinate activities with all members of health team within the hospital pertaining to patient care.

Provide equal opportunity for all nursing personnel to develop their knowledge, judgement, skills and value to ensure the highest attainable quality of healthcare.

Anticipate, prevent, identify and resolve problems / issues at unit level. Report hospital wide patient census, staffing, patient\'s condition, staff disciplinary issues and all incidents of every shift to Director of Nursing.

Responsible for the orientation of new staff.

Qualifications

Certificate / Diploma in Nursing.

Post Basic Certification in Emergency are required.

Degree in Nursing or Master\'s in Nursing would be an advantage.

Minimum 5 years of working experience with recent 2 years at managerial level.

Possess management capabilities and leadership qualities, at the desired level of competence.
