Strategy & Capability

  • Pro‑actively manage and develop relationships with your allocated portfolio of customers
  • Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within allocated portfolio, including cross‑selling
  • Develop and implement strategies and tactics to increase revenue flows from the allocated portfolio
  • Develop and implement strategies and tactics to grow newly identified strategic clients for the country / region
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to ensure agreed KPIs are met—monthly, quarterly, and annually
  • Actively participate in rate negotiations and closely engage with network resources
  • Co‑operate with the overall account owner (Global Leads) when required

Growth & Innovation

  • Identify new business opportunities within customer organisations to generate new revenue
  • Coordinate with the (Global / Regional) Account Owner to qualify opportunities for pursuit
  • Implement the latest IT tools available within the sales organisation or for strategic clients
  • Look for opportunities to improve the sales process and performance in collaboration with operation teams
  • Provide feedback to management on the progress of sales activities and potential barriers to achieving targets
  • Operational Excellence

  • Maintain data compliance to showcase new opportunities (e.g., pipelines, account plans)
  • Support and work closely with the operation team to ensure the levels of customer service are met or exceeded
  • Proactively manage client escalations such as shipment delays and issue resolution
  • Work with Product Heads and Operation teams to ensure maximum support is given
  • Ensure the personal knowledge of all relevant TOLL products and services is up to date at all times
  • Implement tools and technologies available with the client as required / available
  • Maximising Profitability

  • Attract new opportunities and develop existing clients to generate additional volume and profit
  • Oversee contract preparation and deal negotiations, ensuring compliance with company standards
  • Support the finance team with the collection of daily sales outstanding—DSO (if required)
  • Monitor client developments and report or escalate to line manager and functional reporting lines
  • Putting the Customer First

  • Build key contacts and relationships within Toll Network to ensure the business aligns with the One Toll strategy
  • Implement, coordinate and follow up Group & Divisional Client‑Centricity initiatives
  • Actively participate and lead business opportunities of strategic importance
  • Participate in face‑to‑face customer meetings
  • Serve as the single point of contact for communication with the assigned customer and manage service level agreements, SOPs, contractual obligations and other agreements
