Overview
The Operations Department manages DNDi’s corporate infrastructure globally across eight locations through its Business Development, Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems and Technology, Legal Affairs, and Project Management Office teams. The Department plays a central role in DNDi’s compliance and performance.
The Partnership and Operations Senior Manager will be based at the DNDi Southeast Asia (SEA) Regional Office (RO) in Kuala Lumpur. The job holder will provide strong leadership in management of strategic alliances and partnerships at the regional level, support disease‑specific alliances such as the Dengue Alliance, and collaborate across regional and global teams to advance DNDi’s mission.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate strategic partner engagement and multi‑stakeholder working groups for regional initiatives (e.g., Dengue Alliance, HCV, GARDP).
- Represent DNDi at conferences, forums, and external meetings with key partners and institutions.
- Develop business cases and partnership frameworks to support strategic decisions.
- Oversee operational compliance, governance, and statutory obligations for the SEA RO.
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal, HR, and IST to maintain local entity requirements and internal review of MoUs, contracts, and partner databases.
- Support the development and execution of strategic plans, fundraising initiatives, and annual action plans for the SEA RO.
- Provide leadership and oversight of Operations functions in the region, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance.
Qualifications
Postgraduate degree in a relevant field.Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years at the managerial level.People and project management training and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and matrix structure.Experience working in the public and private sector highly desirable.Fluency in English; proficiency in local languages desirable.Critical Skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities managing large or complex projects.Advanced management skills in managing people and multiple projects.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Collaborative manager capable of planning, organizing, and delegating key relationships.Technical Skills
