Job Description
OVERVIEW
- To handle and responsible for the P&P and CNI department breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and improvement projects to overall NGC premises.
- To ensure reliability and effectiveness of all functions and operations activities of plant’s mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation engineering activities, including troubleshooting, modifications, repair and improvement.
- To enforce the company rules & regulations and implementation of ISO 9001 / GMP requirements.
- To standardise procedure and lead breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and improvement projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To monitor and provide guideline to electrical, mechanical, control and instrumentation breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance and improvement project for all area inside Hartalega NGC premises. (Production lines, QA dept., Warehouse, Compounding).To ensure activities carried out by solely or jointly with other divisions observe good health and safety standards.To train engineers to achieve highest efficiency and quality and to lead them to better productivity.To always maintain and encourage department teamwork.To lead the team and plan for annual maintenance execution work and complete on time.To lead the engineering team in plant maintenance to ensure that all equipment is functioning and to ensure any plant machinery or equipment breakdown is attended to promptly and properly.To liaise with contractors or suppliers on projects / modification / improvement activities.To ensure all expenditure is within the budget.To liaise with internal & external regulatory agency inspectors especially during audits.To plan strategic plan and delivered management goals / message to the team.To troubleshoot machine issues and determine repair and modification if necessary.To make sure all damaged items are properly segregated for repair or disposal if beyond repair.Ready for on-call duty after working hours.To always coach the workers under them to be always motivated and doing the right thingTo ensure discipline of workers to be always aligned with the management’s direction.To ensure tooling and equipment for their department are in good hand.To ensure downtime are minimal by performing the job efficiently.Always feedback to superior regarding any outstanding issues / items.To work out plan to achieve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).To liaise with other departments / plants for any activities related to multiple department involvement.To work and try his best to achieve KPl's of the department.REQUIREMENTS
Education :
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Control & Instrumentation / Mechatronic / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.Work Experience :
Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering / maintenance.Technical and Professional Knowledge :
Knowledge in sensor and wiring installation.Knowledge in Programming for PLC (Ladder Diagram) — Siemens, Fatek.Good mechanical, electrical, control and instrumentation knowledge.Able to configure or modify PLC program and instrument settings.Good in designing, developing, installing, managing and / or maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes.#J-18808-Ljbffr
