Role Overview

PingCAP is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our global accounting team. This team plays a critical role in supporting the company's worldwide growth, and we are looking for a self‑motivated, detail‑oriented professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. You will collaborate closely with both the accounting team and cross‑functional partners to execute general ledger and related systems and operational processes and ensure accurate, timely close and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Month‑End Close

• Participate in the timely and accurate completion of month‑end and year‑end close processes, including preparation and review of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Lead periodic accruals for major cost categories (e.g., cloud, marketing, partner referral fees, professional services, etc.), ensuring completeness, accuracy, and proper classification.
• Support the GL & Reporting leader in maintaining the general ledger, chart of accounts, and departmental structure, ensuring transactions are recorded in accordance with US GAAP.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing variance analyses and clear explanations for fluctuations.
• Manage intercompany transactions, including recording, reconciliation, and reporting.
