Job descriptionDevelop detailed mechanical or electrical designs and specifications for manufacturing systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and standards. Conduct feasibility studies and analyze design concepts for performance and reliability. Create and review technical drawings, 3D models, and documentation for manufacturing processes. Provide technical support during the prototyping and production phases. Identify and implement cost-effective engineering solutions to optimize manufacturing processes. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering and manufacturing efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Design Engineer should have :
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in circuit design, CAD software or 3D modeling tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical systems and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
