Job description

Overview

Plan, coordinate, and supervise Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works at project sites.

Ensure all M&E works comply with project specifications, drawings, standards, and authority requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth progress of works.
  • Monitor site installation, testing, and commissioning of M&E systems.
  • Prepare technical reports, work progress updates, and site documentation.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and quality control to ensure timely completion.
  • Review M&E shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements for approval.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide practical solutions during project execution.
  • Support Project Manager in cost control, resource management, and site coordination.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, or related field.
  • Candidates with at least 3-5 years of experience in M&E works will have an advantage.
  • Knowledge of M&E systems, building services, and authority requirements.
  • Familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, or related engineering software.
  • Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Mandarin (spoken & written) for communication with China-based management.
  • Willing to be based at project sites and travel when required.
