Job descriptionEducation : Bachelor’s degree in Law, Insurance, or a related field. Experience : Minimum of 3 years of experience handling third-party bodily injury claims, preferably in an insurance or legal environment. Skills : Strong analytical and investigative skills with attention to detail. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple claims and priorities effectively. Knowledge : In-depth understanding of bodily injury claims processes and relevant legal concepts. Familiarity with medical terminology and injury assessment.
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Third-Party Bodily Injury Claims Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and resolving third-party bodily injury claims with a focus on delivering exceptional service while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Claims Management : Investigate, evaluate, and settle third-party bodily injury claims in a timely and efficient manner. This includes gathering relevant information and analyzing medical reports and other documentation.
- Negotiation : Negotiate settlements with claimants, legal representatives, and other stakeholders to resolve claims effectively. Ensure that settlement offers are fair, within company guidelines, and legally sound.
- Compliance : Ensure that all claims processes adhere to company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations. Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting bodily injury claims.
- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities and contribute to the development of best practices in claims management.
