Job Summary
Responsible for strategically planning, managing, and optimizing warehousing operations by leveraging resources such as space, technology, and team expertise to consistently deliver high service levels, ensure compliance with GDP and GDPMD, maximize cost-effectiveness, and achieve exceptional customer satisfaction and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically plan, manage, and optimize warehouse operations, ensuring resources are utilized effectively to deliver consistent service excellence and cost efficiency.
- Proactively identify and capitalize on value-added warehousing business opportunities to drive continuous growth and profitability.
- Ensure warehouse operations adhere to ISO 9001 : 2015, GDP, and GDPMD requirements. Regularly review process flows and team performance to identify opportunities for process improvement, coaching, and skill development to meet customers’ expectations effectively.
- Liaise and coordinate effectively with the Transport Department, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless operational flow and timely arrival of goods.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, cleanliness, environmental, and security standards, maintaining overall accountability for warehouse building security and stock / cargo protection. Implement preventive measures such as pest control, housekeeping programs, and regular inspections to uphold and continuously improve warehouse standards.
- Participate in internal, customer, and external audits, ensuring readiness and compliance with all regulatory and quality requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and groom warehouse talents, promoting a culture of teamwork, responsibility, and continuous learning.
- Support business development by identifying and contributing to sales and service expansion opportunities within the logistics and warehousing domain.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent.Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in warehousing or logistics, preferably in a GDP / GDPMD-certified environment.Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 : 2015, GDP, and GDPMD compliance standards.Proven leadership and people development skills.Experience managing 5PL or integrated logistics operations.Strong communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.Self-driven, business-minded, and results-oriented.Seniority level
