Technical Customer Support Specialist / Engineer
Responsibilities
- Assess customer requirements, site conditions, and HVAC system configurations to recommend optimal filtration solutions.
- Provide technical support during project design, tendering, and commissioning stages.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, technical documentation, and cost-benefit analyses.
- Collaborate with sales, product management, engineering teams and customer service team to ensure proposed solutions meet performance, energy efficiency, and sustainability requirements.
Market & Product Knowledge
Stay updated on HVAC standards, IAQ regulations, and filtration technologies (ASHRAE, ISO, EN, DOE, etc.).Conduct competitor and market analysis to identify trends and business opportunities.Provide feedback to product management to support continuous improvement.Customer Service
Support clients post-sale with technical advice, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.Conduct training sessions for customers, contractors, and internal teams on filtration technologies and best practices.Pre-sales : Product application and specification assistancePost-sales : Installation, commissioning, and training supportTechnical expertise in HVAC and air filtration.Strong consultative sales and solution-selling skills.Analytical thinking and problem-solving.Customer-focused with relationship-building ability.Results-driven and self-motivated.Team collaboration and cross-functional coordination.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Environmental Engineering, or related field.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HVAC, IAQ, air filtration, or related technical sales roles.Strong understanding of HVAC systems, filtration principles, and clean air regulations / standards.Proven track record in technical sales and key account management.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to work independently and travel as required.Seniority level
