Mailroom Services Coordinator (Handyman / Immediate Joiner) - Kuala Lumpur

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) provides end-to-end services to occupier clients across the entire lifecycle of a building, helping companies improve operations and reduce costs through facilities management, project management, real estate and energy and sustainability services.

Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with consideration for Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

What You’ll Do

  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages to appropriate departments or individuals.
  • Prepare outgoing mail, including packaging, labeling, and coordinating with courier services.
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Monitor and replenish mailroom supplies such as envelopes, labels, and packaging materials.
  • Ensure timely delivery and pickup schedules are adhered to.
  • Liaise with external vendors and courier services to resolve delivery issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mailroom area.
  • Assist with bulk mailings and special delivery requests.
  • Support administrative tasks related to mailroom operations.
  • Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
  • Liaise with contractors for specialized repairs and ensure timely completion.
  • Maintain safety standards and ensure a hazard-free environment.
  • Manage inventory of tools and repair supplies, ensuring timely replenishment.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.

What You’ll Need

  • Minimum 1 or 2 years working experience in the related field.
  • Education : Relevant bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
  • Proven experience in mailroom operations and general maintenance.
  • Good knowledge of managing minor repairs and maintenance needs.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move packages and equipment as needed.
  • Flexibility to adjust work schedules based on operational needs.
