Maintenance Technician

Overview Lam Soon – Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor

To carryout repairs and preventive maintenance works for building facilities, utility and plant machinery equipment. Ensure all the available equipment in good running condition.

Responsibilities

Result Orientation

Responsible and attend any facility equipment breakdown, resolve the issue soonest possible and report to superior.

To upkeep and maintain all facility equipment.

Planning Execution

To be fully proactive & aware of occupational health and safety standards at workplace, ensure full compliance and also safeguarding oneself, colleagues, and the Company from any detrimental incidents.

Assist superior in preventive maintenance plan, improvement project and cost saving activities.

Problem Solving

To attend to any equipment breakdown as soon as possible during operation run.

Attend trainings / courses provided by management for to enhance knowledge in related field.

7.

Others

Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time

Requirements

Certificate / Diploma in Engineering preferably in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics

Basic technical knowledge of machine maintenance & repair work

Having experience in handling on site machine repair and welding work

Experience in firefighting system is an added advantage

Knowledge in motor & pump maintenance are an added advantage

Must have an initiative and willing to learn

Computer Literacy : Microsoft Excel and Words

Able to work on shift rotation

At least 3 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position, advantage for experience working in food industry
