Database Engineer - Cloud

Overview

1. Take charge of global database key projects, including delivery solution design, data migration, and performance optimization based on HUAWEI CLOUD Database service products.

2. Manage requirements of key customers, develop project plans, identify project risks, ensure timely project delivery, and oversee operations of select HUAWEI CLOUD sites.

3. Provide technical support for HUAWEI CLOUD customers and ensure proper running of customer services at the technical level.

4. Troubleshoot faults of database service products in various scenarios, communicate with customers about solutions, and track solution implementation results.

Qualifications

• Good project management experience in the ICT or CLOUD industry.
• Familiarity with database knowledge, for example : Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL , etc.
• Experience in cloud development, delivery, or O&M. Background in the cloud industry preferred.
• HCIA / HCIP / HCIE certificate in cloud computing, or equivalent industry certificates preferred, e.g. : AWS, Azure, GCP cloud certificates .
• Strong teamwork and organizational coordination skills.
