Responsibilities (English)
- Research the market and attend trade fairs / exhibitions to find new suppliers and trends.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on cost, quality, and reliability.
- Run tender processes and ensure fair and proper supplier selection.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to get the best deals.
- Manage supplier relationships and resolve issues when needed.
- Track supplier performance and help improve results.
- Analyze procurement costs and find ways to reduce spending.
- Develop sourcing plans that align with company goals.
- Follow industry trends to improve sourcing and cost efficiency.
- Implement sourcing processes across departments.
- Work independently and report directly to the Regional GM.
Requirements (English)
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain functions.Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams.Demonstrated experience in tendering processes, supplier development, vendor management, and cost analysis.Familiarity with sourcing operations across Asia, particularly in China, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia.Candidates with educational background in China, current or past work experience with China-based companies, or who have resided in China are strongly preferred.Candidates from the People’s Republic of China (PRC) with strong sourcing networks are encouraged to apply.Important : PRC candidates must hold Malaysian Permanent Resident (PR) status or possess a valid Malaysian work permit.Benefits & Perks (English)
