Pfizer – Health Representative – Kuala Lumpur (Federal Territory), Malaysia
The Pfizer Health Representative is the central contact that connects customers to therapies that advance wellness, prevention, treatments and cures. The role is consultative, spanning Pfizer’s entire resource and product portfolio for the customer base. The representative should draw on healthcare knowledge, understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the Pfizer product portfolio so that customers achieve the solutions they need.
Responsibilities
- Identify and implement the most efficient virtual / in‑person engagement strategies to maximize effectiveness and impact.
- Build rapport and relationships with customers across virtual and face‑to‑face environments; manage call objectives and leverage digital tools to support customer engagement.
- Engage key customers to grow business and drive product demand by proactively providing education that best meets HCP and patient needs.
- Deliver relevant, targeted messaging to drive product demand and provide insights for the development of new and innovative approved product messaging and resources.
- Maintain deep market knowledge, products and disease states to build credibility and add value when calling on providers.
- Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional colleagues to address customer inquiries and advance Pfizer objectives.
- Present contract terms where appropriate and answer on‑label questions; introduce customers to future state Pfizer Pro with targeted content.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree, preferred Science and Health background.Minimum 2 years of previous sales experience is preferred.History of promotional or sales success, territory management skills, effective communications skills, teamwork, leadership and accountability.Valid driver’s license and a driving record in compliance with company standards.Preferred Qualifications
1 year pharmaceutical, biotech, sales, or relevant experience.Must live within the territory.Experience with therapeutic area and products associated with this role.Knowledge of posted territory customers and markets (prescribers / HCPs / institutions / organizations).Develop comprehensive territory / customer plans to drive achievement of desired objectives.Strategically overcome obstacles to gain access to difficult to see healthcare providers and customers.Cultivate relationships with KOLs; build lasting relationships with top priority customers.Demonstrated strong business acumen, problem solving, strategic thinking, data analytical skills and project management skills, as well as excellent planning and prioritization skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.Quick learning and adaptability to new ways of working in a rapidly changing environment.Strong organizational and analytical skills, ability to analyze sales data and adapt to Pfizer technology.Work Location : Hybrid.
