Senior Finance Executive

Position Summary

As a Senior Finance Executive, you will play a critical role in supporting the company’s financial operations and ensuring regulatory compliance. This position requires strong technical expertise in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting, along with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will contribute to accurate financial insights, streamline accounting processes, and support decision-making across business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Review of the financial report and working paper provided by the outsource accounting service provider and make the necessary adjustments after consultation.
• Assist in treasury management, including cash flow planning, cash allocation and placement.
• Assist in tax compliance, statutory compliance, annual audit and simple corporate matters.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and management reports.
• Support the preparation of consolidated financial statements and statutory financial reporting. The scope will be guided by specialists.
• Perform day-to-day accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries to facilitate smooth reporting and audits.
• Contribute to process improvements and support automation initiatives within the finance team.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CIMA) are preferred.
• Minimum of 3–4 years of relevant experience in accounting, including experience in audit firms.
• Solid knowledge of accounting standards (e.g., MFRS / IFRS), taxation, and statutory compliance.
• High level of integrity, analytical ability, and attention to detail.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Reporting Structure

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Finance. The role requires regular interaction with internal business units, external auditors, tax consultants, and corporate secretarial service providers.
