About the role : We are seeking a highly capable and hands-on Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure using modern DevOps tools and practices. You will be responsible for building scalable, secure, and automated cloud environments, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive performance, cost-efficiency, and innovation.

Responsibilities

Infrastructure Design & Implementation

Design, build, and deploy highly available, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions across (insert cloud platform(s) – e.g., GCP / AWS / Azure).
Translate business and technical requirements into robust cloud architecture.

Automation & Orchestration

Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.

Automate provisioning and configuration tasks using Python, Shell scripts, Ansible, etc.

CI / CD & DevOps Integration

Integrate infrastructure workflows into CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline.

Enable seamless deployment and integration with application teams.

Monitoring, Logging & Optimization

Implement and manage monitoring and logging tools to ensure system performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize resource usage.

Security & Compliance

Apply and enforce cloud security best practices, ensuring compliance with standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.

Implement IAM policies, data protection controls, and secure network configurations.

Troubleshooting & Support

Provide expert support for cloud infrastructure issues and participate in on-call rotations if required.

Diagnose and resolve infrastructure problems in a timely manner.

Collaboration & Documentation

Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to support seamless cloud deployments.

Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of infrastructure design, policies, and procedures.

Cost Management

Monitor cloud usage and optimize for cost-efficiency.

Provide recommendations for cost-saving opportunities and cloud spend tracking.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Stay current with the latest cloud technologies and trends.

Evaluate and introduce new tools and services that enhance cloud operations and scalability.

Requirement

3+ years of proven hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure in production environments.

Technical Skills Required

Scripting : Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, and / or JavaScript.

IaC Tools : Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM Templates.

CI / CD Tools : Familiarity with Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD, Azure DevOps, or AWS CodePipeline.

Containers & Orchestration : Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Networking : Strong understanding of TCP / IP, DNS, VPN, Load Balancing.

Databases : Basic knowledge of both relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases.

Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider - GCP / AWS / Azure : Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, VPC, IAM, Cloud Monitoring, Deployment Manager, etc.

Monitoring Tools : Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Stackdriver, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

Cloud certifications (e.g., GCP Associate / Professional, AWS Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator).

Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.

Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud setups.
