Role Summary
Support the Accounts Manager / Director in managing full sets of accounts, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and team supervision within an SME environment.
Lead and oversee multiple accounting engagements, manage a team, and ensure timely, high-quality financial reporting and compliance for SME clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and review full sets of accounts.
- Ensure compliance with MFRS / MPERS and statutory requirements.
- Supervise and guide junior accountants.
- Prepare management reports and assist in budgeting.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and clients.
- Lead accounting operations and client portfolios.
- Review and approve financial statements under MFRS / MPERS .
- Manage workflow, reporting deadlines, and team performance.
- Provide accounting advisory and process improvement input.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax laws.
Requirements
Degree in Accounting / Finance; ACCA / MICPA / CPA / ICAEW .Min. 5 years of financial reporting & accounting experience in SME or professional firm; min. 7 years with managerial exposure.Strong technical, analytical, and leadership skills; strong communication and problem‑solving skills.Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in spoken Chinese for client communications and documentation from overseas.#J-18808-Ljbffr
