Finance Manager

An experienced Finance Manager for our operations in Malaysia. You bring a wealth of experience in the Accounting field. With over 10 years of progressive finance experience under your belt, at least 5 years holding leadership responsibilities and a track record of success in multinational / manufacturing / factory operations environments, you will be the leading light for the team. Your high integrity and attention to detail differentiate you from the rest. Along with strong change management competencies and the ability to build effective interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company, you make a strong contender for this role. Your leadership and influencing skills, as well as active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills, will be key to your success in this position.

This role is based in Seri Kembangan, Selangor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a finance team and oversee day-to-day finance operations for 3 entities in Malaysia, including financial and management reporting and analysis, statutory reporting, taxation reporting, cash flow management, budgeting and forecasting, as well as oversee on-time preparation of stand-alone and consolidated financial statements and monthly reporting packages to RHQ.
• Responsible for year-end statutory audit, timely preparation of statutory accounts and liaison with external auditors on various audit queries and issues.
• Responsible for taxation matters including corporate income tax, SST, property tax, handling tax queries from tax authorities, and also responsible for transfer pricing analysis and documentations.
• Partner with Business Unit Heads and Operations teams to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, provide financial insights and analysis to drive operational efficiency, cost control, and business performance improvements. Work closely with RHQ finance teams to align financial strategies and drive business growth.
• Responsible for monitoring and tracking of financial and capex budgets.
• Provide technical expertise and strong mentorship to team members, ensuring high standards of performance and accuracy, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Other ad hoc duties as required.
