Job Summary
This role involves managing and implementing business expansion strategies of MR DIY in the Southeast Asia (SEA) region and Europe. The responsibilities include conducting market analysis, developing business plans, coordinating with various stakeholders, ensuring smooth operations of new / existing stores, and providing essential back end support to the Local International Expansion team.
Key Responsibilities
Market Analysis and Research
- Conduct detailed market analysis to identify opportunities for business expansion of MR DIY in the SEA region and Europe
- Prepare feasibility studies, financial analyses, and risk assessments for potential new sites
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences of local markets
Expansion Planning and Development
Evaluate new store sites, develop and implement strategic expansion plans aligned with company growthMonitor and evaluate performance metrics to ensure targets are met and adjust strategies as neededStakeholders Coordination and Engagement
Act as a primary point of contact within departments (e.g., finance, legal, marketing, operations, admin) to ensure alignment and synergy in achieving business objectivesEnsure timely follow-up on action items, agreements, and commitments to maintain positive relationshipsJob Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Candidate with experience in data analysis, process improvement, project management is preferred.Prior working experience in a COO office or transformation office is a distinct advantage.Strong business acumen, problem-solving, critical thinking, stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.At least intermediate proficiency in data analysis and process mapping tools.
