Job descriptionEducation required : Must have at least B.Sc. in Physics with solid state specialization or Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Micro / Nano-Electronics. Years of experience : Preferable 2 years of work experience in the related field, but not absolutely necessary. Skills / Abilities : Familiar with Unix / Linux operating system. Familiar with writing and generating script for model development, measurement and data analysis using Phyton and Verilog-A. Other languages such as TCL, Native skill, PEL (ICCAP) will be value added. Familiar with ANSYS Lumerical, LUCEDA PDK, IC-CAP and LabVIEW software and hands on experience with EDA tools including CADENCE, SYNOPSYS and MENTOR GRAPHICS. Hands on experience with device characterization and handling electronic lab instruments.
Responsibilities
- To work on optical test characterization, data analysis and silicon photonics models development.
- To involve in PDK development, component designs and simulation to fulfill the silicon photonics roadmap.
- To work on the tape out of silicon photonics modeling test chips.
- To participate in the innovation activities, publication, patents submission and roadshow support to promote Silterra's capability in Silicon Photonics process development and manufacturing excellence.
Job Requirements
Familiar with semiconductor physics, silicon photonics devices and process.
