Role and Responsibilities :

As a Test Equipment Designer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality vacuum valves by developing and maintaining test equipment used for qualification and validation. Key responsibilities include :

• Test Equipment Development : Design and develop new test equipment to support laboratory testing, new product introductions (NPI), and mass production.
• Sustaining Equipment : Ensure the reliability of test equipment in the production line by implementing improvement plans to increase the first pass yield and reduce abortion rates due to test equipments.
• Change Management : Drive and implement design changes or upgrades to existing test equipment to enhance performance, reliability, and safety.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with production teams, product management, and R&D to align test equipment requirements with product specifications and manufacturing processes.
• Data-Driven Decision Making : Analyze test equipment performance data to identify and resolve bottlenecks or inefficiencies.
• Documentation and Compliance : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for test equipment designs, adhering to industry standards and internal quality processes.
• Training and Support : Provide training and support to production staff and maintenance teams on the use of test equipment.
• Innovation : Explore and adopt new technologies to improve testing methodologies and ensure equipment aligns with future product trends.
