Extruder Operator (based at West Port)

Job descriptionRecord all parameters in the PIS Form (Provided Form). Ensure the cleanliness of the Extruder machine, Packing area, Control room and surrounding area. Maintain all machinery and equipment properly. Ensure that the Extruder Machine operates properly, and the feed produced meets the desired quality criteria. Ensure and monitor the feed in the packing to always meet the quality criteria. Assist in the maintenance work of the Extruder machine. Give feedback if any machine or equipment operated has the potential to be damaged or if it has been damaged. Assist in investigations and try to find the root cause if there are customer complaints. Attend all production and safety-related meetings. Work with other workers to ensure that all products produced are of good quality. Ensure that oneself and all employees comply with safety regulations. Able to work on shift. Be able to work overtime if needed (The total working period will not exceed 12 hours). Able to climb the stairs to the 'Tower' when needed while carrying out tasks. Able to cooperate with the 'Maintenance' Team for the maintenance work of the Extruder machine. Be able to work on Public Holidays and on Sundays if necessary. Work to perform additional work not stated above, if necessary.
Qualifications
- Possess at least Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or equivalent.
- Able to read and write in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Able to do and understand simple calculations.
