HEAD OF SALES AND MARKETING

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Sales and Marketing to join our dynamic team at Unimed Sdn Bhd. In this full-time, office-based role located in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, you will be responsible for leading and driving our sales and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sales & Marketing Development

Develop and implement a strategic sales and marketing framework for both domestic and international markets to achieve agreed management targets and support the company’s business vision within your team.

Organize, plan, and supervise domestic and international sales managers, providing clear guidelines, expectations, and leadership.

Establish and nurture valuable business relationships with stakeholders in domestic and international markets, focusing on market penetration in ASEAN, African, Latin American, and Pacific Island nations, among others.

Continuously identify and pursue new business opportunities in the pharmaceutical and related sectors, including the health food category, to expand market share through Unimed Group of Companies.

Monitor and evaluate internal and external market trends regularly. Share insights with management to align strategic plans and capitalize on opportunities for improvement.

Work closely with the internal business operations team to ensure alignment between your team’s initiatives and the company’s overall corporate mission and vision.

Prepare and submit comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports for domestic and international business. Reports should include key findings, performance analysis, and proposed actions for management review.

Develop and drive effective marketing concepts and positioning strategies based on patient and clinical needs. Implement targeted initiatives and forecasts to achieve the agreed budget.

Conduct timely performance evaluations for team members in accordance with the company’s policy and appraisal framework.

Lead or participate in ad hoc projects as assigned, especially where your experience can add value.

Act in accordance with company policies, uphold professional integrity, and promote a culture of respect and ethical behaviour within your team.

Ensure all business information and data are handled with the highest level of confidentiality and in compliance with company policies.

Participate in rotational schedules as outlined separately. Note that these schedules may be subject to change.
