Responsible for the daily operations of the projects assigned and ensure that the approved business plans are realized in accordance within the set timelines through effective coordination of multiple projects teams and efficient use of resources. Coordinate development of master plan, layout plans, details building plans, tender drawings, Sales purchase agreements, specifications and requirements, and other planning works, including liaising and supervising consultant teams with regards to civil and M&E infrastructure master plan. Collaborate with marketing & sales, design, cost & contract departments, and other internal teams to produce products that fulfil market needs and trends, with compliance to budgeted cost and materials optimization. Conduct value engineering when necessary. Liaise with project stakeholders and business associates to ensure the company’s interests are addressed and safeguarded. Submit, plan and monitor status of clearance letters from respective authorities (e.g., site inspections, issuance of clearance letters, and final issuance of CCC by local authorities). Participate in tender award, monitor site progress, anticipate and resolve problems and contractual disputes. Vet tender documents / budget before forwarding to Procurement & Contract Team. Inception, feasibility studies / cost estimates, conceptual design, design development & construction management for projects. Maintain cohesive working synergy within the Project Team to support the company’s growth and unity. Implement and comply with approved quality, occupational safety, health and environment standards to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements. Strategize and manage detailed plans to achieve each stage of a project. Maintain good communication with contractors and suppliers. Ensure each project stage is delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. Provide regular progress reports to clients and stakeholders; analyze and resolve issues or delays. Demonstrate knowledge of all areas of construction. Willing to travel outstation. Undertake other tasks as directed by management and implement related policies, procedures and work instructions as defined in the Company’s Quality Management System. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by superiors. Education, Experience and Skill Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Project Management or equivalent. Minimum eight (8) years' experience with extensive exposure in project and construction management or industrial park / factories. Analytical with planning and organizational skills. Strong knowledge of construction management, contract administration and budgeting. Well versed in architecture, structural, mechanical and electrical works. Good interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Able to liaise with clients, consultants, authorities and contractors. Able to take on challenges. Time, cost, quality and safety conscious. Knowledge of ISO 9001 frameworks. Excellent written and spoken English. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken) and Mandarin (spoken) is an added advantage. Candidates willing to travel to the Northern region (Perak) are encouraged to apply. Seniority level :
