We are Oil & Gas service provider set up in 2005. We have developed strong partnership over the years with our clients. We are looking for experienced Sales and Proposal Engineer to be a part of the Project Team. In this role, you will work with clients to understand their technical needs and prepare competitive proposals and tender submissions. We are looking for someone who has experience with the tender process, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of engineering solutions. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys both technical and commercial work in a fast-paced, project‑driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tenders in line with client specifications and deadlines.
- Coordinate with principals, suppliers, and internal teams to gather technical and pricing information for proposals.
- Ensure compliance with tender requirements, client specifications, and company standards.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and follow‑up on proposals.
- Support the team in pre‑qualification, vendor registration, and tender documentation.
- Provide technical presentations and clarifications to clients when required.
- Track and monitor proposal status, ensuring timely submission and follow‑up on awarded projects.
- Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities within the Oil & Gas, Marine, and Energy sectors.
- Collaborate with engineering and project teams to align proposals with execution capabilities.
- Prepare regular reports on proposals, win / loss analysis, and sales performance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Marine, or related discipline).Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Sales, Tendering, or Proposal Engineering, preferably in the Oil & Gas / Marine / Offshore.Strong technical knowledge of mechanical equipment, valves, piping, marine systems, or offshore equipment is an advantage.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia.Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of tender portals and procurement platforms is a plus.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple proposals under tight deadlines.Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team.Be careful - Don’t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
