Electrical Engineer

Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in architecture or engineering projects. Direct, review, or approve project design changes. Confer with management, production, or marketing staff to discuss project specifications or procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct and oversee electrical engineering projects at construction sites, resolving issues and ensuring that work is completed according to specifications.

Familiar with International and Local Standard as guidance to review the engineering and constructions works.

Interface and liaison with client, main contractor, subcontractor, vendor and supplier and authorities during pre-construction and construction works.

Review the drawing and close the engineering and construction gap pre and during construction.

Construction work planning including manpower, equipment, materials requirements, WMS and JHA preparation.

Construction management / supervision and subcontractor liaison including technical query, site supervision, materials and work coordination, daily, weekly and monthly reporting.

Ensure the project documents are in good filling system such as QC documentation, daily progress report, monthly progress report and material inventory report.

Ensure that the work are executed in a safe and efficient manner. Ensure all incident / accident are investigated, reported and followed –up.

Optimize the use of the available resources i.e manpower, equipment, to obtain maximum productivity.

Review the work permit raised by the work leader. Ensure that relevant JHA has been prepared and attached to work permit.

Report any changes or modification made / done required which is beyond the original work scope to client. Do the site mark-up drawing with suggestion and proposal and submit for endorsement.

Conduct daily progress, safety briefing and occasional safety meeting with contractor’s crew.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent.

Minimum of 5-10 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Have involved with construction related to renewable energy infrastructure eg. Hydropower Structures, Water Treatment, Sewerage

Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills

Team player with the ability to work independently.

Comprehensive understanding of risk management

Demonstrated problem solving ability in a cross-functional environment.

Advanced MS Excel.

Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals.

The ability to identify and intervene in problem areas, well-developed problem-solving skills.

Job Types : Full-time

Salary : RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
