People Operations Lead

About the Role

StashAway’s People & Culture team is growing! We are looking for an enthusiastic People Operations Lead to own the people operations function within our team. This is a mid level role with some people management responsibilities.

This role is the operational backbone of our People & Culture team. You will own and optimise our core HR processes and systems, using a data-driven, hands‑on approach to ensure efficiency and a great employee experience, while also acting as a trusted HR partner to managers and employees.

Key Responsibilities

• People Operations & Systems : Own our HRIS (BambooHR) as the single source of truth, ensuring data integrity. Proactively identify and fix broken processes by building solutions like dynamic spreadsheets and automating high-volume communications.
• HR Business Partnering : Serve as the primary P&C partner for managers and employees in Malaysia & Singapore, providing expert guidance on performance management, and employee relations.
• Total Rewards Administration : Oversee the administration of all employee benefits (including health insurance across regions) and our Employee Share Option Plan (ESOP), managing renewals and employee queries.
• Lifecycle & Performance Management : Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle by owning the strategy for onboarding and offboarding, and project‑managing our bi‑annual performance evaluation cycles.
• Data & Compliance : Maintain meticulous, audit‑ready employee records and serve as the main point of contact for compliance requests. Build and maintain P&C dashboards to provide data insights to the business.
