Assistant Finance Manager (AP, AR & Cashflow)
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidate and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow reports.
- Draft and review Bursa Malaysia announcements related to quarterly financial results and other significant disclosures.
- Oversee monthly closing processes, ensuring accuracy in journals and transactions completed by team members.
- Contribute to the preparation of financial forecasts and annual budgeting activities.
- Supervise and manage the daily operations within the finance department.
- Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants and other key stakeholders to ensure the timely completion of year-end close and statutory filings.
- Work with finance teams from subsidiaries to manage payment arrangements, banking issues and intercompany transactions.
- Manage bookkeeping and payment processes for select private companies, ensuring both precision and regulatory compliance.
- Perform other ad-hoc tasks as requested by Management or Directors.
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA or CIMA are highly preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.Strong knowledge of financial regulations, statutory reporting and tax compliance.Advanced knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Seniority Level
