Company Overview

This is a great opportunity to join a well-established Trading Company that is a strong player in its industry and has a strong presence in Asia. They are looking to bring on board a dynamic finance professional to join their team in Selangor.

Your New Role

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the Finance Manager will lead a team overseeing financial and management reporting, month-end closing, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and managing the year-end financial audit. You will be responsible for the preparation of the annual plan, cashflow reporting, as well as product profitability analysis to identify opportunities for cost containment, inventory control, and managing transfer pricing across countries. In this role, you will be a key business partner to support business operations, providing insightful analysis, modeling, and forecasting for new business projects and their effects on the balance sheet and P&L.

Requirements to Succeed

The successful candidate must hold a Chartered Accountant certificate, with a minimum of 7 years’ relevant work experience in general / management accounting. You should have team management experience and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in Mandarin is vital. You will have strong all-round experience in financial analysis and group reporting, with experience in cross-functional partnering and business improvement projects.
