SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- To be responsible for the preparation of cooked food according to the quality, presentation and standard operating procedure
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, knowledge of portioning, chopping and storing of food
- Assist with cleaning and washing of raw materials
- Assist with inventory checking and recording of raw materials and cooked food
- Responsible for receiving and checking quality of raw materials received from suppliers and that the quantities and prices received are in accordance to the invoices
- Wash and maintain the cleanliness in the kitchen area including tables, tools and equipment and also the restaurant premises
- Track and report wastages to the Management team
- Able to work with kitchen team and follow all company policies and procedures
- Training new kitchen team members in accordance with the company's standard operating procedure under the instruction of the Kitchen Supervisor
- Report any potential Safety Hazard(s) to your Supervisor
- Perform any other task required by your Supervisor, as and when required
