Role Summary

The BDR is responsible for pipeline generation, new account hunting, and opening opportunities for our cybersecurity services. This role focuses on prospecting, outbound activities, SI ecosystem engagement, and qualifying leads before passing them to Account Directors / Managers.

This is not a passive role — you will be the spearhead for new revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and engage new enterprise prospects in assigned verticals (BFSI, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Gov-linked entities, etc.).
  • Manage outbound activities : cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, email sequences, event follow-ups.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline in CRM (Zoho).

Qualification of Opportunities

  • Conduct discovery calls to understand customer needs, project timelines, and cyber maturity.
  • Qualify opportunities using BANT / MEDDIC methodology.
  • Prepare initial pitch decks or case studies with internal marketing support.
  • SI & Partner Engagement

  • Build relationships with System Integrators (SI), MSPs, and technology partners.
  • Support joint proposals and partner events.
  • Work closely with Account Directors to hand over qualified opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing on events, webinars, and demand‑generation campaigns.
  • Track KPIs, forecasting accuracy, and conversion metrics.
  • Industry & Market Awareness

  • Understand cybersecurity services, compliance requirements (CSA, MAS TRM, ISO27001, Cyber TrustMark), and industry drivers.
  • Keep abreast of competitive landscape and market trends.
  • Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or inside sales (preferably in IT or cybersecurity).
  • High energy, resilience, and a strong hunter mentality.
  • Ability to manage outbound cadence and follow‑through.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity services is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work independently with ownership and accountability.
