Job descriptionImplement all relevant policies, procedures and activities as required under the QESH Management System. Ensure compliance with client requirements, legal regulations and other applicable standards. Carry out planned actions from risk and opportunity assessments. Take accountability for promoting a safe working environment and preventing work-related injuries and illnesses within your area. Propose, plan and implement policies related to the acquisition, operation, maintenance, and disposal of machinery, equipment and vehicles. Manage and oversee the efficient use of the company's fleet of machinery, equipment and vehicles. Ensure all repair and maintenance tasks are completed effectively and properly documented. Monitor the purchase and inventory of spare parts, machinery and equipment. Coordinate with project and site teams on the deployment and movement of machinery and equipment. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment at various project sites. Perform any other tasks as assigned by the superior.
Job Requirement
- A recognised Diploma in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in managing heavy construction plant, machinery and equipment.
- Candidates without formal qualifications but with at least 5 years of related experience will also be considered.
- Must be dynamic, independent and possess strong technical skills.
