Job description

Assist in planning, organizing, and monitoring the end-to-end forwarding operations for import and export shipments.

Coordinate transportation schedules, carrier bookings, and documentation to ensure smooth and timely cargo movement.

Support negotiations with carriers, shipping lines, and service providers to secure competitive rates and reliable service.

Oversee and verify shipping documents, customs declarations, and compliance with international trade regulations.

Liaise with clients to provide shipment updates, resolve issues, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Monitor operational KPIs, costs, and budgets to improve efficiency and minimize discrepancies or delays.

Supervise and guide a small operations team, ensuring adherence to company SOPs and safety standards.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance overall forwarding and logistics performance.

Support internal and external audits related to logistics, customs, and compliance.
