Job description
  • Program, tune, and validate AOI inspection recipes for various PCB assemblies (2D / 3D systems)
  • Identify and resolve false call issues, optimize detection thresholds and lighting settings
  • Perform machine setup, calibration and occasional maintenance checks
  • Collaborate with SMT process teams to refine AOI coverage and minimize defects
  • Analyze inspection failures and support root‑cause investigations with statistical methods (SPC, DOE)
  • Maintain documentation : logs, process instructions, change control records
  • Assist in equipment qualification and process validation (IQ / OQ / PQ)
  • Train AOI operators on new recipes and inspection best practices
  • Monitor KPIs — false call rate, throughput, first‑pass yield — and drive continuous improvement
