Job description

Requirements

  • Possess a relevant technical qualification (e.g. biomedical, electrical, mechanical).
  • Familiarity with Malaysian and international business practices.
  • Proficient in English; fluency in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred. German language skills are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and comfortable with social media and online marketing.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to distribution partners and end-users.
  • Oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of MELAG appliances.
  • Conduct technical training for dealers (both online and in-person).
  • Support sales and marketing activities, including trade shows, events, and product demonstrations.
  • Travel regularly across Malaysia, ASEAN countries, and occasionally Korea and Japan.
  • Report to the MELAG Academy in Malaysia and collaborate closely with the head office in Berlin.
  • Perform in-depth market analysis and identify growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and business partners.
  • Take ownership of sales turnover and drive business growth in the region.
