Data Migration Test Engineer

Job descriptionDevelop and maintain automated test scripts for migration pipelines, APIs, and backend services. Use tools such as Postman, JUnit, and Python to streamline validation. Work closely with developers to troubleshoot issues, refine backend processes, and support smooth integration. Strong SQL knowledge for database validation and integrity checks Python scripting for automation Database validation and ETL testing expertise Knowledge of AI / LLM development (hands-on experience preferred) Bonus : Experience testing community forums or platforms like Discord Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on data migration and backend systems ISTQB certification or equivalent in software testing Hands-on experience with data migration testing tools Exposure to AI / LLM development (a strong plus)
We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in data migration validation, backend testing, and automated testing . You will play a critical role in ensuring system stability, data integrity, and seamless backend operations during and after migration.
Key Responsibilities
Data Migration Testing
- Validate accuracy and integrity of migrated data (user profiles, forum posts, histories, tags, categories, etc.).
- Develop test cases for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data consistency.
- Test backend services including case management, reporting, and CRM / ISvC integrations .
- Ensure system stability, performance, and correctness post-migration.
