Location : GM Klang Wholesale City, Bandar Botanic Capital, Klang

Requirements :

Must possess at least Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management / Building Technology / Electrical Engineering or any relevant qualificationsRelevant experience in mall / building operations of 2-3 years will be highly regardedHas integrity, has initiative and is responsibleHas the ability to communicate well and effectivelyAble to make good judgments / decisions in unfamiliar situationsAble to lead, guide, plan and organise work for the operations teamAbility to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia and / or English is essential. Knowledge of other languages will be highly regardedAble to use Microsoft Office programs confidentlyAble to communicate well with people of different backgroundsTechnical knowledge will be highly regarded

Responsibilities :

Ability to lead the operations team and assist the Manager in overseeing the smooth day-to-day operations of the mall. Key scope of works includes security, housekeeping, firefighting system, safety matters, defect checking and emergency response team, etcTo be a key person in the Fit-Out Committee in reviewing and approving renovation works for the building. Technical and safety knowledge are requiredTo assist the Building Manager in problem solving issues that may arise relating to the operations of the mallTo plan, supervise and organise the operation team's work scope to ensure that they are carried out properly and completedTo be a key point of contact for any authorities who may attend to the site such as local town council officers, police, bomba and etcAble to produce the relevant reports to update senior management on the progress of issues and state of the building operation mattersTo plan and ensure that the necessary corrective and preventive works are being undertaken in a manner that minimised disruption to the building and safety issuesTo assist the Manager in any other works that may be specified from time to time
