Job description

Overview

Lead the planning, design, and implementation of fiber optic and transport network infrastructure.
Define robust technical requirements that establish the foundation for successful project execution.
Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance in network architecture.
Oversee end-to-end design and technical delivery for large-scale projects.
Monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Provide cost-effective and practical solutions to minimize rework and operational risks.

Technical Strategy & Standards

Develop and enforce technical design standards and best practices for fiber and transport networks.

Align deployment strategies with organizational objectives and industry benchmarks.

Continuously evaluate emerging technologies to strengthen network capability and competitiveness.

Stakeholder Coordination

Facilitate seamless collaboration among internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.

Manage overlapping scopes and address differing technical expectations effectively.

Act as the primary technical advisor for management and project stakeholders.

Problem-Solving & Innovation

Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and propose innovative solutions.

Drive continuous improvement in design methodologies, deployment efficiency, and operational performance.

Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering knowledge-sharing and technical growth.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Technology / Electrical / Electronic / Telecommunications Engineering or related field.

Minimum 10–13 years of experience in fiber and optical transport engineering, with at least 5 years in a senior / leadership role.

Proven track record in large-scale fiber network design, rollout, and maintenance.

Familiarity with network management systems, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting tools.

Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills.
