As a Lorry Driver, you will execute safe delivery of our packaged gas (PG) products, primarily within Johor State and occasionally to Nilai or Melaka branches based on business needs. You must follow site safety policies, life-saving rules, road safety policies, and the 24 identified safety risks. You will perform forklift operations for loading / unloading cylinders and some manual handling with lifting aids. All delivery documents (Delivery Orders and GTS data records) must be completed and accessible. The role operates on a 5.5-day work schedule.
Responsibilities
- Execute safe and timely deliveries of PG products, meeting daily and monthly delivery / collection targets.
- Ensure full regulatory and safety compliance by adhering to site safety policy, 12 life saving rules, 24 safety risks, and local transportation regulations.
- Perform vehicle safety checks daily using pre-delivery checklists and assist with routine fleet and tanker inspections before delivery.
- Manage product loading / unloading by safely operating a forklift, ensuring proper load balancing and secure strapping of cargo.
- Maintain delivery service quality by providing professional service and ensuring DO quantities match deliveries / collections.
- Complete all documentation by performing GTS (barcode) scanning for all product movements and collecting customer signatures / stamps on the DO.
- Practice defensive driving to minimize safety incidents, avoiding cell phone use, fatigue, overspeeding, harsh braking, and harsh acceleration.
- Uphold GMP and GDP requirements, especially regarding medicinal products, by following relevant guidelines.
- Maintain low driver risk profile through safe operation and reporting of unsafe conditions to management.
- Ensure lorry cleanliness (5S) and follow fleet maintenance schedules and Puspakom inspections.
Qualifications
Must possess a current and valid Class E driving license (KEJUR or BERSENDI).Minimum 1-2 years of professional Class E vehicle driving experience.Proven ability to safely operate and handle large vehicles.Strong commitment to customer service and professional conduct during deliveries.Forklift driving experience is an advantage.Point of Hire / Work Location : Senai, Johor.Location and Employment Details
