Editor (Maths & Add Maths)

To commission and edit titles for Mathematics Forms 1-5 & Additional Mathematics Forms 4 & 5 according to the latest syllabuses, school textbooks and exam format

To check and proofread page proofs of the titles assigned to ensure the edited manuscripts are error-free and achieve the required standards

To liaise with authors for the writing of manuscripts, proof checking, and other relevant MOE info or updates

To coordinate and liaise with the design & production team pertaining to illustrations, typesetting / layout, and cover design

To ensure all titles / projects assigned are accomplished on time

Requirements :

Candidates must have at least a Degree in Mathematics or equivalent and taken Additional Mathematics in SPM

Proficiency in editing and checking page proofs for the subject of Physics at the SPM level is an added advantage

Minimum 1 year of editorial experience

Possess the necessary computer skills required to produce a published title

Must be able to read and write in Bahasa Melayu and English proficiently

Meticulous, multitasking, able to work independently, self-motivated, dedicated and committed

A good team player, able to manage time well and work under tight schedule
