Junior Account Executive (FD2-2)

About the Role

We’re a growing SME seeking a Junior Account Executive to support day‑to‑day finance operations. Ideal for fresh graduates who organise work, track details, and move timelines forward —whether from studies, internships, part‑time jobs, volunteering, or personal projects. You’ll be trained in AP / AR, billing, reconciliations, GL, and reporting , with hands‑on mentorship from your Reporting Manager. We value people who take ownership, communicate clearly, and go the extra mile .

What You’ll Do

Handle Accounts Payable (AP) , Accounts Receivable (AR) , General Ledger (GL) & financial reporting

Issue invoices , track payments, and process receipts

Record and file supplier invoices and payments accurately

Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure timely, accurate data entry

Communicate with suppliers / customers; prepare payment listing for approval

Assist in preparing month‑end financial reports for management review

Support the Reporting Manager with task lists, reminders, and progress updates

What We’re Looking For

Education

Minimum SPM ; Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related is preferred

Skills & Qualities

Detail‑oriented and organised; able to manage multiple tasks

Comfortable preparing checklists , following up, and tracking progress

Basic accounting knowledge (training will be provided)

Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets proficiency is an advantage (SUMIF, basic lookups, pivots)

Personality & Attitude

Proactive , curious, and willing to ask questions

Calm, focused, and dependable under deadlines

Takes ownership and follows through to completion

Team player who contributes ideas and supports others

Flexible during peak closing periods or urgent tasks

Languages

English required; Mandarin and / or Bahasa Malaysia are advantages for vendor / customer communication

Availability

Immediate or short notice candidates will be prioritised

What We Offer

Salary

RM3,000 – RM4,000 (based on qualifications & experience)

Training & Mentorship

Direct guidance from Reporting Manager; hands‑on system training

Clear progression to Account Executive → Senior Account Executive, based on performance
