What you'll do :

🔹 Upholding Quality Standards, Quality Control & Compliance

⭐ Stay updated of changes in accounting standards (IFRS) and local regulations (IRAS & ACRA), assess the impact on accounting and product, communicating updates to the relevant department and integrating them into workflow processes where necessary.

⭐ Act as the subject-matter expert for complex technical accounting queries, providing clear references to relevant documentation, guidelines, and best practices.

⭐ Collaborate with management to refine and develop SOPs, enhancing workflows, controls, and processes, ensuring they are well-documented and aligned with company goals.

🔹 Training development

⭐ Identify technical and procedural gaps in the team’s knowledge, designing tailored learning initiatives to address those needs.

⭐ Organize and lead monthly as well as ad-hoc training sessions focused on error patterns, quality concerns, and reporting requirements for specific financial statement line items.

⭐ Continuously enhance the team’s technical capabilities by providing in-depth training on complex accounting and reporting topics.

🔹 Documentation

⭐ Maintain and update SOPs and knowledge bases (e.g., Notion), ensuring content is accurate, current, and accessible.

⭐ Create and regularly update learning materials, ensuring training content remains relevant and addresses observed gaps.

⭐ Actively seek feedback from team leads and members to identify and address outdated or missing content in training materials.

🔹   UFS and Management Report Review Team Management

⭐ Manage the prioritization and timely completion of reviews, ensuring deadlines are consistently met within 24-48 hours of submission by accountants.

⭐ Review and analyze consolidation workings and reports, providing detailed feedback and guidance to the accounting team to improve accuracy and efficiency.

⭐ Identify recurring errors and quality issues during the reviews, using insights to design focused training sessions and initiatives to mitigate these issues.

🔹   Collaboration & Cross-Team Support

⭐ Work closely with the tax team on requirements for tax to improve quality for tax filings.

⭐ Contribute insights to Product Team on automation challenges in year-end reporting and accounting software, exploring innovative strategies to refine and boost operational efficiency.

⭐ Review and validate company marketing materials for technical accuracy and clarity.

Who you are :

⭐ Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Accountancy or Finance.

⭐ ACCA, ISCA, CPA Singapore (completed or in progress), or any other professional qualification is a plus.

⭐ 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience in Singapore.

⭐ Experience with cloud accounting platforms and exposure to diverse client portfolios is preferred.

⭐ Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas).

⭐ Strong knowledge of Singapore tax regulations and accounting standards.

⭐ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

⭐ Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deadlines.

⭐ Independent, accountable, and proactive in problem-solving.
